Fabrics and Colors
Quality Fabrics: The fabrics we print on are described below, and defined with their best function. Most materials are in 72 inch width. Two prints of any material can be sewn back-to-back to make double-sided flags and banners
Nylon Flag (200 Denier Solar Max) :
Nylon is industry standard for flags and has 80 - 90% penetration of image on backside. Printed images are shown in single reverse (reverse on backside).
Nance Poly :
This soft polyester twill material only shows print on one side, but is excellent for table covers and single-sided prints. It is machine washable if it gets dirty.
Poly Satin :
The Poly Satin material is vibrant, and shiny. It shows great brilliance and reflection. Images will only show on one side. Excellent for display banners or wall hanging banners.
Poly 600 :
Poly 600 is a heavy-weight material that only shows print on one side. This material is similar in weight to 10 oz. vinyl. It is excellent for indoor and outdoor signs and banners.
Poly Flag :
Flags with this light-weight poly fabric are very similar to flags flown in Europe. They look great with little amounts of wind. There is 100% penetration on back side, in single reverse.
Poly Taffeta :
Taff eta is a soft, light-weight material with a silky texture. Colors printed on this material are very vivid. This is a great material to use for golf flags and indoor flags and banners.Artwork Requirements for custom prints are as follows:
The most desired artwork is electronic , either on CD or Emailed. The best formatted artwork is in Vector Format, saved as an Adobe Illustrator (AI), PDF or EPS File. Please outline fonts or provide fonts used.
If the file is saved as an image (JPEG, PSD, TIFF, or GIF), the image must be saved at least at 72 dpi, to final printed size, to guarantee clear image resolution. Web images are usually at a maximum of 72 dpi, and will not work if saved in Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop, even if enlarged to flag size. If artwork is not in a required format, and you only have an existing product, please send product and assume art charges will apply. If artwork must be recreated, there is a fee of $45 per hour (net).
For best color results, please include PMS colors, or pick one of the colors on the color chart below. Note that colors printed on fabric will not carry exact replication of color printed on glossy paper, but will closely match.
For Custom Sewn Flags, only DuPont Type 66, Bright Nylon is used in the weaving of this rich, colorful, 200 denier nylon. It is also treated with an SRF (Sun Resistant Finish) for outdoor use, and is available in a wide variety of colors. This material comes in 60” widths (54” wide material may be substitued if the 60” width is unavailable).
